Burkhart Dental Supply was founded in 1888 by Dr. William Burkhart as an additional service he offered to his existing dental practice. And for more than 130 years, five generations of Burkhart’s have led the company and its dedicated employees, in helping dentists achieve personal and professional success.
Today, the company and its 400 employees, provide more than $200 million a year in supplies, equipment and technology, service and repair, consulting, and office planning and design assistance to over 7,500 dentists.
While not a small company, Burkhart provides the attention and service of a private family-and employee-owned business. And it’s the values, ethics, and talent of their people that help distinguish them.

As the company prepares to move into a new decade, it’s a fifth generation Burkhart that will lead them there.
