The whole world has changed in the last few months, and nowhere has that been felt more than in the dental practice. Infection control and prevention has been an important focus for many years, but now it is of paramount importance as we fight to suppress the spread of a nasty virus. Providing adequate protection for patients, staff, and yourself is requiring a whole new set of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), like respirator masks, face shields, disposable isolation gowns, and more. These have been around for a long time, but haven’t been popular in dentistry – until now!
The urgent need for these PPE items, coupled with a limited supply due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, has created unique challenges for dentists all over the world, as well as for Burkhart as your supplier.
